Experience tailored Pilates sessions led by a qualified physiotherapist, designed to improve strength, flexibility, and posture, enhancing your overall physical health and sense of wellness. These sessions will be targeted for your goals, whether it be returning to sport, improving your sports performance, or just your ability to get out of the chair! Sessions happen in your own home or venue of choice or online by Zoom, either 1:1 or in small groups, using mat and small equipment-based pilates exercises. Reformer/ Studio Pilates teaching also available.
From 12 weeks pregnant until delivery, post baby and beyond! Pilates is a wonderful way to exercise when pregnant to maintain, (and improve!), physical fitness with balance, flexibility and muscle strength exercises, as well as helping to protect against musculoskeletal injuries which might occur at this time. Classes can be 1:1 or small groups from the comfort of your own home, (or venue of choice), or online via Zoom. Want to return to your chosen sport after having your baby? No problem, the sessions will be tailored to the demands of your sport, increasing the intensity gently and effectively.
Nurture your little one with gentle baby yoga and massage classes which promote bonding and relaxation for both parent and child. We use developmental stretches and movements to assist baby in integrating primitive reflexes so they can reach their developmental milestones. Available from the comfort of your own home, (or venue of choice), on a 1:1 or small group basis or online via Zoom.
Rejuvenate your mind and body with specialised breathwork techniques, encouraging efficient function of the diaphragm and activation of the parasympathetic nerve, your "rest and digest" nerve. Treatments goals will be to reduce stress, aid relaxation and enhance your emotional wellbeing.
My little one and I love our Mums & Babies hour with Alicky! She makes the baby massage/ yoga really fun and engaging for my little one using songs and always explains the science behind the movements to help babies reach their developmental milestones. Then my little one chills out in her bouncer whilst I do post-natal Pilates to help myself get back into shape. Thank you Alicky!"
